Book of Mormon 80 Day Reading Printable

I love that twice a year members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints can gather together in their homes, church buildings or at the conference center, to listen to the prophet, apostles, and other leaders of the church.  I was especially touched by the Women's Conference this year. President Russell M. Nelson challenged the women of this church, ages 8 and up, to read the Book of Mormon by the end of this year.  I know it's going to be a lot for me, but I also know and believe that the prophet doesn't give us challenges, especially Prophetic Council, that can't be accomplished.

Since I love planning and an excuse to create and organize, I made this printable to use for the reading challenge.  Just click {HERE}! And don't forget to check out amazing study helps at

All You Need Is Love {And Donuts}

We have had a whirlwind 2018.  My daughter became engaged in February and the wedding was in May.  It pretty much threw me for a loop. On a bright note, my daughter and I have been pinning weddings for years. I even went through a complete Pinterest wedding obsession several years ago.  So thankfully, her tastes hadn't changed much and we were able to begin the planning and DIYing right away.

The first thing on the list was the cake.  Obviously, it was very important to my daughter.  And well, she isn't a huge fan of cake. But donuts on the other hand.... her favorite.  We had seen several donut cakes on Pinterest and were inspired by the following:

She really wanted to have the cake and the wall, so I went off searching for the most reasonably priced way to have both.  I decided on pallets and I searched high and low for the perfect pallets.  I only found 3 the same color gray, but it ended up working out.  With a tape measure, drill, and my sons muscles, we were able to turn the pallets into the donut wall/backdrop. I love how it ended up being the centerpiece of the reception.

My sweet friend made the cake layer and styled the donuts on the stand.  I just LOVE how it all turned out and it's true: All You Need is LOVE  {and donuts}

Planner Items Up On Etsy!

The more I learn about planners and the planning community, the move I LOVE it!  I thoroughly enjoy sitting down to plan my week with all my fun supplies.  I have noticed that I'm actually accomplishing more!   So of course, my ever creating mind got right to work on what I could contribute to my planner.  I am so happy to report, my brain did not fail me. I created these super fun transparencies.  I have several designs listed on my Etsy shop!  Go take a peek HERE!

Scripture Journaling Products

I also recently discovered a VERY talented Bible Journaling community. And let me tell you, these journalers are amazing and very inspirational. I started off trying to draw in my scriptures, and well, I am not an artist ....in the drawing sense of the word. As I began to look around at ideas, I ran into all sorts of products specifically for Bible Journalers.  (I will share my favorite finds with you in another post.) So anyways, as you may have figured out from a few posts, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I tried to find products out there for Book of Mormon journaling. While there are a few, and a few AMAZING blogs, I realized my love for planners and this new love of scripture journaling could go hand in hand.  So, my new transparencies can be adhered to your scriptures, journals and planners!  I even have Christian and LDS specific designs.   So take a peek HERE at my Etsy Shop!
Here are a few samples of how I have used them in my scriptures:

Planner Newbie!

So first off, this is my first post using an app. Hoping it turns out well and I might just be more apt to blog more. Of course, I might blog more if .......I put it in my new handy, dandy, planner!

 I had been stalking a few Instagram planner addicts, and let me tell you, I couldn't get enough. So, I made up my mind. I was getting a new planner. No more messy notebook paper for me.  I set off to Michaels with my coupon in hand, and wouldn't you know, they were pretty much out of all the amazing planners (Heidi Swapp, Happy Planner, even the Michaels binder planners.) ugh. So I gave up, until I found this sweet "bohemian" end cap with this adorable notebook. I thought to myself, "self, I can make this my own."  So after spending an arm and leg on other items I left and got to work.

I discovered the notebook is called a travelers notebook, an art journal or a midori. Since the notebook came with plain inserts, I planned on drawing my own calendar inside. But lo and behold, I found these great printables from Wendaful. I used her monthly and weekly calendars and just printed and cut at home....oh, and I had to use a corner punch for uniformity. I think it turned out great!

There are many YouTube tutorials including this folder insert by TheSassyPineapple. Cute, huh?

Oh, and this binder clip pen holder by @poochiebaby  ( I am dying that the owl is cut off. That will be fixed as soon as I get new duct tape)

I need more bands to insert for my extra notebooks, but use one to tie together in the back.

I have been using it for a few weeks now and love it! I love sitting down to plan the week and pulling out my drawer of stickers to embellish. Such a fun and productive hobby!
